Rubén Pulido (Madrid, 2000) is the ninth transfer of SD Huesca this summer. The young defender has signed a contract until June 2025. The Azulgrana side has reached agreement with CF Fuenlabrada, where he has played for the last couple of seasons. This quick centre-back knows this competition very well. He’ll be then available for the upcoming SD Huesca matches.
Despite his age, Rubén Pulido has experience in LaLiga SmartBank after spending two campaigns at CF Fuenlabrada. In the first one, he racked up 30 appearances – of which 29 from the start. His appearances increased to 34 last season, starting 31 games and showcasing his customary reading of the game in the heart of our defence. Virtually ever-present in Fuenlabrada’s starting line-up, Rubén has 69 club appearances and 2 goals in total, becoming more and more important and regular thanks to his performances.
Our new player began his youth career at Rayo Vallecano, before switching to Real Madrid, with one loan spell at another capital city club Rayo Majadahonda, in Segunda División B. He made his first-team debut in LaLiga SmartBank with his next team, CF Fuenlabrada, before joining Cuco’s side.
After having completed his SD Huesca medical and the official document signing, Rubén is well on his way to becoming an Azulgrana player, and will add strength to Ziganda’s defending resources.
