Ziganda faces a new fixture after a positive training week in which the atmosphere has been different thanks to the three points picked up against UD Ibiza. However, the Azulgranas’ boss has pointed out that they’ve trained with intensity: “Victories are the best medicine, but we must continue as usual. We shouldn’t lose focus and we need to get things right both on and off the ball. We’ve worked more happily, but we are all aware that it’s as important as always.

SD Huesca welcome Málaga CF to El Alcoraz on Sunday, bearing in mind that the visitors have fallen in three of the four clashes they’ve played so far. It’s a poor run, but Ziganda’s men must be awake: “They’ll come here to win, we’re sure about that. We all know their purposes as well as their history. Their new signings are quality players in all lines.

“We must think of us – we can’t get distracted. They’ll definitely try and play a good game,” he confessed. Regarding his squad, the manager has explained that almost all his players are available: “We expect to have them all, our priority is for them to be all sound,” he added. There are two men who won’t be able to play, Enzo Lombardo and Joaquín, to whom we all wish a good recovery following his recent operation.

When asked about the Academy players, Ziganda believes it’s capital that they get more and more minutes in a Huesca shirt: “If they can’t play with the first team, they’ll go with the youth team, as we want them to play games – it’s undoubtedly the best for everyone.” Finally, about his side’s level, he’s explained that they’re looking to be regular and reliable, as it’s the only way to get results”. And he concluded: “I wish we could continue the climb – we already started last Sunday.”
