New away kit 22/23: back to our roots

We get back the St. George’s cross, one of the most representative symbols of our club

Saint George, the patron saint of Aragon and winner of the Battle of El Alcoraz, is our main symbol, and will be depicted in our new away kit this campaign. The characteristic red cross on a white background of his armour is back to the kit that will be worn by our players in the games away from home, in perfect harmony with the other designs for this season: Pure Huesca. This one is, without a doubt, the most representative and popular design for our fans, and is available in physical stores (Coso Bajo, 13-15) as well as online. To celebrate it, SD Huesca is going to place a huge red cross in the city centre during this weekend.

The cross is, of course, the main feature of the design, together with red tones along the shirt and blue colours at the bottom. It also has red edgings on the sides, the sleeves and the collar. Like the home shirt, this one has round neck.

The design of our shirt includes the inscription Urbs Victrix Osca (Latin for Huesca, the winning city), referring to the Battle of Ilerda, when the forces of Julius Caesar were helped by the people in Huesca against the army of Pompey Magnus, in 49 BC.

Technique-wise the new shirt is made using Nike Dri-Fit ADV technology, which combines a great elasticity with moisture-wicking fabric. It has round neck and a standard fit for a flawless comfort.

This shirt is now available in physical stores (Coso Bajo, 13-15) as well as online.
