Marc Marteu (Valencia, 1990) will wear the SD Huesca colours until June 2024. The club and the player have agreed to extend the contract for one more season. After his arrival in the summer of 2021, Mateu has become a key player for the team, unleashing his trademark brilliant finishes and his versatility on the wing.
He has already racked up 47 appearances in an SD Huesca shirt so far (last season and this one). In fact, in his first campaign as an Azulgrana, he only missed two matches, having to serve a suspension. At SD Huesca, Mateu has scored six goals and recorded ten assists, the last of them against UD Ibiza on matchday 4, where he scored and then assisted Abou Kanté.
It’s a player that makes the difference and we’ll be able to enjoy his left foot at El Alcoraz for, at least, one more year.
