SD Huesca play again at El Alcoraz willing to delight our crowd by earning all three points. That’s what ‘Cuco’ told us during the press conference on Friday to preview the club’s League match against Leganés, even if the boss is aware that it won’t be easy.
“Leganés is tricky, they have potential and quality players. In this competition, we all find it hard to win or secure points, and there’s normally a game-changing contribution of quality every encounter. They haven’t got so many points, but their talented players can make the difference. I expect an even clash,” added Ziganda.
Also, this weekend, the Azulgranas will have the fans behind them, something vital according to the coach. “We can’t forget that we play in front of our crowd. If we can put together a run of results, we’ll lift our confidence and become a solid team at home.”
“We must learn from all that happens to us and improve from that,” declared Ziganda. “Every game is special, and against Leganés it’ll be different from Mendizorroza. I expect a Leganés side growing into the game, enjoying long possessions, with players who pose a real threat in the 1v1 and can unlock defences.”
Regarding his squad, ‘Cuco’ hopes to have most of them available. “It’s important to have most of them ready and sound to play. We would like to build momentum,” he concluded.
