Cuco Ziganda: “The table doesn’t say anything to me”
“I don’t usually look at the table, I pay attention to the games instead, and they tell me that it’s a tough side to take on,” states the manager ahead of the visit to Anduva

“There’s a good vibe and atmosphere, our players are all in and we’re completing quality trainings. In that sense, I’m really pleased.” This is how Cuco Ziganda described the form of his squad before going to Miranda.
And he added: “We’ll have to perform at our best in order to get a result there. If you simply look at the table, you may relax. However, if you watch their games, you know they’re a tough side who play very well. Any detail will be very important there.”
Therefore, the boss doesn’t want to tag it as a tricky encounter. “It’s got all the ingredients to be a dangerous one, they’re in need of points, and have young, quality and energetic players. They’re finding it hard to earn points, but they play good football. We are aware of what our rival is like, so it’ll be a difficult match for us.”
Ziganda knows well that the position in the table is not defining: “The table is circumstantial, we’ve played a quarter of the competition so far, and they’re growing into the season. Their performance doesn’t match their position. I don’t usually look at the table, I pay attention to the games and they tell me that it’s a tough side to take on.”
Finally, regarding his side, he concluded: “I appreciate my team’s attitude and disposition to face work and games. Even though we’ve changed players sometimes, all of them are striving and dedicated. We’re evolving and we enjoy a positive competitiveness.”
