Jorge Pulido will defend SD Huesca colours for the next couple of years. The Azulgranas’ captain, who reached 150 appearances for our team last weekend, has signed a new contract, which will keep him at SD Huesca until June 2023, with the option to extend for two further years. Pulido, 30, has been an indispensable part of SD Huesca’s recent history, taking part in the two historic promotions to Primera División we achieved and winning the trophy in the second one.
Pulido joined from the Belgian Sint-Truiden in 2017, when SD Huesca promoted to the best league in the world. Since the very first moment, the centre-back was essential on the pitch, showing his courage, strength and good defensive qualities. After being the first captain of the team since the season 2019/2020, he has become one of the most loved players in Huesca.
“I was completely sure that I wanted to continue playing here. My wife and my family are very comfortable in this city and that’s a rare feeling in football. I’ve lived very special moments and I hope I will continue to live some more. It was important to me to resolve my future and give a lot of happiness and success to this province”, he states in an interview for the club media.
