PITTA SCORES A BRACE AND HOLDS THE KEY BACK TO VICTORY

The Oscenses find victory again in Reale Arena (0-2), proving themselves to be more effective than a dynamic Real Sociedad B

SD Huesca found victory again. It happened in Saint Sebastian over Real Sociedad’s second team and the top star was Isidro Pitta, who scored for the first time with SD Huesca’s shirt. His brace meant the final 0-2 score. The Paraguayan was the star of the match for SD Huesca. Our team were able to have the match under control, even if Real Sociedad second team proposed a hard one, especially in the first half, by playing through short passing and movement and getting the ball possession in some periods of the game. The Azulgranas come back to Huesca after getting the three points, in hopes this is the turning point they have been looking for.

Juan Carlos Real was the only new face in our first XI in the victory in Reale Arena. The first half began even, as both teams were trying to approach and threaten the opponents’ goal. After the 10th minute, the Oscenses tried it by means of a shot by Ferreiro from the centre of the box, which finally was lost above the crossbar. SD Huesca kept on with their pressure, and ended up finding the prize of the goal thanks to Pitta in the 17th minute. This one was his very first goal with SD Huesca. It all started from a short corner kick taken by Nwakali for Marc Mateu, who set a centre for the Paraguayan header.

After the goal, Real Sociedad B attacked our box unluckily. Firstly, in the 25th, Andrés saved Jeremy Blasco’s ball with his body, after it had been taken out on the line by Andrei. Our keeper saved Ander Martín’s low shot, leaving 0-1 on the score.

The Azulgranas started well the second half and were very close to increase the distance, but Andrei Ratiu’s goal was dismissed since the VAR considered that Escriche, who was offside, touched the ball right before it got into the net. Ambriz made the first substitution then, and Pedro Mosquera went on the pitch by replacing Juan Carlos Real. The match was still open and even, from one box to another. Andrés brilliantly tipped the ball over once again after a Txuri urdin’s free-kick. Our manager moved the bench again and Mikel Rico entered the field to cool the game off. Marc Mateu’s shot was unsuccessfully struck by Seoane. Mikel Rico shot with his left leg in the next attempt but the keeper saved it.

The Azulgranas managed to have the game under control in the closing minutes, and Pitta’s second goal in the extra time meant the grand finale.
