NACHO AMBRIZ: “I CAN’T WAIT TO FINALLY SEE A FULL EL ALCORAZ”

The Azulgrana boss sees the team very confident and willing to achieve a new home victory

SD Huesca come back home after earning all three points in Anoeta, and are confident and willing to get another great victory for our fans, who will make El Alcoraz to be back at full capacity. “I’ve felt a great atmosphere, not only from the first line up but also from the bench. I’m reassured that we’ll play a great game tomorrow. We have a huge desire to do things well at home,” said Ambriz ahead of SD Huesca’s LaLiga Smartbank home match against CD Tenerife, this Saturday at 4 p.m.

“I’ve seen them at ease. If there’s something I ask them is to enjoy themselves playing football, to have fun. Because I know that when you feel pressure, things don’t turn out the way you want them to. It’s been a good week, and I hope that joy they show me helps us have a good performance in the match, above all taking into account the support of our fans,” he added.

Having the stadium back at full capacity is, for the manager, a very positive aspect to try and get all three points. “I can’t wait to finally see a full El Alcoraz. Fans are the 12th man when they cheer you up. I always tell the boys that we need to convey that feeling from the inside to the outside. All by being competitive, running and tackling fast. We need to try to be direct, although sometimes it’s hard. We’ve been working on everything, and I’m sure we’ll manage.”

Ambriz mentioned the rival team, a CD Tenerife that will arrive in Huesca after their loss against Almería. “It’s a very experienced and comprehensive team who are fighting to seal promotion again. It’s a hard rival, with good players in the centre of the pitch. We respect them, knowing that we need to play very well,” he concluded.
