Nacho Ambriz calls for calm so that SD Huesca can find the victory again. That is what he said to the media on the eve our LaLiga game this Sunday against Fuenlabrada CF, where SD Huesca will try to find the good feelings the squad had during the first two matchdays. “We have to find the balance, by correcting small details. We cannot erase that from our memories so fast, since we did things right. It is about coming back, keeping calm and going back to our roots. We are confident and willing to take this opportunity,” stated the Azulgrana manager this Satuday in El Alcoraz.
“The team was not us in our last game. It was definitely not the match I wanted. If we had not made any mistakes, we might have gotten the three points, but I would still not feel satisfied. I am self-critical to improve, I have spoken to the players and they have given me their opinion on where we may have been wrong. We are confident and we must take advantage of the home support,” pursued the SD Huesca manager in the press conference.
He also wanted to emphasise self-criticism. “I have reflected on my mistakes when making certain decisions. The rivals examine us in detail. I had to start from me in order to be able to convey the appropriate message to the players, and then they would approach me and we would become a close-knit.”
Finally, Ambriz mentioned Sunday’s rival, Fuenlabrada CF: “We have watched and analysed the team. We expect them to press the ball out of defence, since that is how they feel comfortable. We must have the capacity to avoid their pressure. It is a team that defend well too. We need to find a way of counteracting. I try to get into the other manager’s head and see how he can answer to what I do, assume that the matches change and finally have a backup plan.”
