“Courageous” was the most repeated word by Xisco Muñoz in the pre-match press conference before SD Huesca’s trip to Eibar. The manager is confident that the team will show their character in our away match against LaLiga SmartBank leaders SD Eibar, aiming at securing three valuable points. “We need to be bold, put in a courageous performance and try to win. We’re more stable now, so all we have to do is fight for the triumph,” stated the SD Huesca manager. “We must be bold and brave to hit even harder at certain moments of the game –aggressive in the opposition’s half and rock-solid in ours.”
“These weeks are different, but we are focused. We only think about our crucial clash in front of a great rival, against whom we’ll have to perform at the highest level in all facets of our play. It’s been an interesting week, though, and we have progressed, which makes me feel good since I like what I see,” added Xisco before leaving for Eibar, where the leader of the competition await his side. Xisco Muñoz also praised the rival:“They have a very strong squad and play with composure. They need very little to score, and that’s what makes the difference. They dominate the art of direct game and the second chances… they have command of every aspect of the game”.
Finally, Xisco pointed out that his side have improved exactly there after the winter signings, as we have increased our alternatives. “I think that all the new signings can give a lot to the group. We now have more registers and solutions – a rather big and competitive squad. We just want them to adapt as soon as possible. The club are working hard to make it,” concluded the Majorcan, congratulating the Directors on having signed “top-level players in a tough transfer window.”
