“Our idea in Alcorcón is to put the best version of ourselves out again, play our best football and make the most of the point secured in our previous game. It’s clear that when we don’t claim all three points, we need to try in the next game.” Xisco Muñoz, SD Huesca manager, spoke to reporters ahead of our away LaLiga SmartBank match against AD Alcorcón (matchday 31). “We have to enjoy and do our best – I’m the first one to wish a different situation for us right now, but we have been unable to win for more than two straight games so far. We’re going to keep on working hard, but we’ll need the balance and accuracy of which we’ve lacked sometimes.”
The Majorcan admits that the clash against the Madrilenian side “won’t be easy. It’s a rival that struggle to win, but do many things having that goal in mind,” as they’re combative at home. “We have various options in our squad, and it’s very good for us to search for alternatives. It’s important to know that we have a group we can trust,” he added.
“We’ll try to make a strong start to the game, prove to have a high level. We’ll look to dominate proceedings, enjoy ball possession and be patient. If we’re able to seize the game and understand how demanding it is since the very first minute, we’ll perform at the highest level and we’ll be closer to seal the victory”, he concluded.
