Xisco: “It’ll be a tough match, but we’ve worked really hard”

SD Huesca manager underlined the “attitude and spirit” of his side in every training session in the last weeks of competition

“We face this game as any other game – composed and working hard.” This has been a very good week, which is very important,” stated Xisco Muñoz ahead of SD Huesca’s match against SD Amorebieta on Saturday (14:00 CEST) at Lezama. There’ll be a lot at stake for our rival, which leads us to believe that it’ll be a rough encounter. “It’ll be a tough one, the team in front of us will try and win every challenge, by means of crossings from the sides, set-pieces… We’ll try to transit well in order to produce a serious performance. We’ll have to enjoy possession to press forward,” he added.

The Majorcan answered whether keeping an unchanged league line-up at Lezama. “We believe that they’re doing a great job. I can’t say anything about it, as I would make it easier for our opponent. All I can tell you is that I’m pleased with all of my players, the way they face these clashes, and how they live them – I’m certain that they’ll play a good game”. The “great level” of his men “is set by those who go out there, but I’m sure that they all would produce good performances, as they all have the abilities for it,” outlined Xisco.

Finally, he praised the rival. “I expect a tough Amorebieta side, in front of whom we’ll have to be careful with all challenges and one-on-one situations. We need to be really focused. They are plenty of spirit, in need of the points and they’ll seek to play a direct game from the wings. They always pose a threat from one box to another, we’ll have to make the most of our chances,” he ended.
