Sociedad Deportiva Huesca’s Board of Directors has decided to remove the sporting director Mr Rubén García. Thus, the sporting responsible for the last three years finishes his period in the entity from the Alto Aragón. The club would like to thank him for his work and great professionalism throughout his three years in office, and acknowledge again his dedication from the first day here to the last one.
Mr García arrived at SD Huesca in April 2019. In a tough moment after the relegation of the Azulgranas following our first year in LaLiga Santander, he shaped a winning squad who would immediately be promoted in the 2019/2020 season as champions with Míchel Sánchez at the helm, getting their hands on the first piece of silverware ever for the Oscenses. Many signings in that season proved to be crucial to reach the greatest success in the history of our club. Last year, in the best league of the world, the team did not give up until the end, displaying impressive and honorable performances that led us to be really close to win the fight against relegation. However, this season, with Nacho Ambriz and Xisco Muñoz in charge, the results have not gone our way.
