Mr Manuel Torres, new SD Huesca institutional president

A new executive commission has been created to handle the functions that were formerly entrusted to him. It will comprise the directors Mr Larraz, Mr Gracia, Mr Callizo and Mr Torres himself

Mr Manuel Torres will become SD Huesca institutional president and will assume representation responsibility on behalf of the club before entities and institutions. In parallel, the club will have an executive commission replacing the post of managing director, which had been held by Mr Manuel Torres in the last three seasons. The functions and responsibilities that had been undertaken up until now by him will be collectively entrusted to this newly-created governance body. This change, which will become immediately effective, aims at responding to upcoming challenges of the club, establishing a shared responsibility from various points of view. It was presented at the media centre in El Alcoraz this Monday, after it had been adopted by the Board of Directors.

The recently-established governance body will be composed by Mr Manuel Torres and the directors Mr Alberto Larraz, Mr Sergio Gracia and Mr Fernando Callizo. Through all of them – supported by Mr José Luis Ortas as a CEO and considering the final decision of the Board of Directors, – a more pluralistic decision-making is sought.

The implementation of the Impulso Plan, the consolidation of professional football, the sustainability of the club itself or the establishment of the ambitious plan for our youth team revolving around the football school facilities in Huesca (Base Aragonesa de Fútbol) are some of the main challenges SD Huesca will have to face in the near future under its new organigram.
