Xisco: “I want the team to play well and with our trademark style”

SD Huesca manager points out how hard his side have worked during the week and looks to “be strong again” away from home, ahead of the club’s clash against Málaga CF at La Rosaleda

“We want to feel again that good vibe around us away from home, try to be strong and balance this situation. We are SD Huesca and we have to go out there to win every game.” Xisco Muñoz addressed questions from the media this Saturday lunchtime, ahead of SD Huesca’s LaLiga SmartBank match against Málaga CF. The Azulgranas are taking on the south-coast side in the Sunday 27 March (18:15 GMT+1) matchday 33 and, according to the manager’s words, “it won’t be an easy encounter, as Málaga will make a strong start to the game. We know the stadium we’re attending and the crowd will push their team.” Xisco would like to see that his side play “with their trademark style and that they produce a quality performance. I’d love to keep seeing what I see in my players.”

The Majorcan highlighted the rock-solid defence the Altoaragoneses have formed recently, and admitted that the team must work on “short-term objectives, given the fact that we haven’t succeeded when we’ve tried to achieve them in the long term. We need to work and enjoy at the same time, and now we have an exciting clash ahead of us, in a great stadium and in front of an excellent crowd.” Xisco wanted to thank the fans for their support during their recent victory at El Alcoraz: “They set an example – they’ve got the greatest feeling for this club and that’s what matters at the end of the day. We’re not in a position to ask for anything, but it was pleasant to feel that they helped us win and took part in the triumph,” he pointed out.

Xisco expects his side to be “accurate on Sunday. When we take the lead, we’re a different team. They’ve given their all in every single match so far. If we get results away from home, I’m sure it’ll be very positive for us,” concluded the Majorcan.
