The best version of the Azulgranas and the unbelievable support of our fans will be key to beat UD Almería on Sunday, according to Xisco Muñoz. “We’ll have to put in a solid performance, as we play a very big rival,” highlighted the Majorcan ahead of his side’s home clash tomorrow lunchtime (14:00 CEST kick-off). He also pointed out the support of the home crowd, key for the run of results the team have put together, with six successive home wins, having recorded a clean sheet in all of them. “We’ve managed to be strong at home and we must keep that. Our people have stuck with us and have helped us succeed. I hope they’ll be well behind us tomorrow, because it’ll be important for us.”
Xisco Muñoz praised our opponent, considering that they have Sadiq, the player “who proves the biggest difference in the competition.”“We must pay attention, especially to him, as he turns Almeria into something different and makes them better,” he added. “Apart from him, they’ve got important players. We can’t miss anything and we need to focus,” he said, predicting a very intense clash.
Regarding the good run of results of the Oscenses, comprising two victories and four home games unbeaten. The boss stands for the “game after game” philosophy as one of the main key points right now. “I think we’ve got rid of a little pressure. We try to win next match and see what will happen tomorrow. The team are growing, getting more mature and we can see that at home,” he pointed, insisting on how his side have evolved. “They’re getting more and more a trademark style of play, and that’s excellent for the squad and for the staff, as well as for the fans,” he concluded.
