Andrei Ratiu is set to join up with Romania at the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers later this month. The player, who had been on holidays since last Saturday, is on the 26-player list that manager Edward Iordănescu called up last Sunday.
Therefore, he will take part in the next two fixtures of his national team, both of them away from home. Firstly, Romania are set to face Kosovo at Fadil Vokrri Stadium, in Pristina (16 June, kick-off 9:45 GMT+1). After that, Iordănescu’s side will take on Switzerland atSwissporarenaStadium in Luzern (19 June, kick-off 9:45 GMT+1). In order to get ready for them, Ratiu will travel to Romania tomorrow, joining up with his national team-mates.
The Romanian side are willing to extend that good vibe around them of their last games back in March, when they won both clashes against Andorra and Belarus. Such two victories placed them second in their group, only after Switzerland – because of the goal average, as both have the same points –. Their next encounters for the Germany Euro 2024 qualifiers will be later in September.
