NACHO AMBRIZ: “WE’LL GIVE OUR ALL FOR OUR FANS”

“Work is better faced after a victory. The team is confident again and, although we still have to improve, picking up points is always positive in every aspect,” says the boss

After the victory in Girona, SD Huesca meet Malaga CF next Tuesday, confident and willing to earn the three points in front of our fans in El Alcoraz. “We’ve had little time, but the players are recovered. Today we’ve done a more analytical work rather than a purely physical training, and we hope we’ll be fine and play a good match in front of our supporters tomorrow, stated Nacho Ambriz in SD Huesca’s pre-match press conference for matchday 11.

Following the confidence given by a favourable result, the coach sees the team in good shape. “Work is always better faced after a victory. The team are confident again even if we had a very tough match last Saturday, but we were aggressive counter-attacking. We still have to improve, move the ball more quickly and increase our possession, but picking up points is always positive. It’s better to correct things after a victory than after a defeat,he said.

The manager also mentioned the rival, Malaga CF. “It’s a very lively and dynamic team that have a clear idea on how to play football. I expect an open clash, where we’ll need to be decisive in both boxes.”

As the season goes by, Ambriz has the players “more and more connected and trained,” and that is always positive. “More and more players are proving their worth, the team have started to feel the inner competition and that is always constructive. They are all working hard, some players needed to adapt here and understand a different kind of football, they are all making the most of the minutes they play and this situation gives me more chances,” he concluded.
