NACHO AMBRIZ: “PRESSURE SHOULD MAKE US GET BETTER”

“We are aware of the fact that it will be a tough game against a team that fight for the 90 minutes,” stated SD Huesca manager

SD Huesca travel to Burgos with the goal of playing a good match and continuing to earn points away from home. “I think the team is in good shape, we’ve had little time, but we’ve worked hard, said Ambriz to the media on the eve of matchday 12.

“We are aware of the fact that it will be a tough game against a team that fight for the 90 minutes. We’ll need to produce an excellent performance in order to continue earning points – I expect a very even match,” added the boss.

About the rival: “It’s a team that play very practically. They are intense, combative and do quick transitions. Besides, they play home and their fans will be there for them. If we want to win, we need to be brave and courageous, we’ll have to be aware of the details. The rival won’t give us anything for free, he explained.

The coach knows that the team have to improve: “We’re always looking for more, we always want to see the team higher in the table, but we know that it’s a long competition and we need to grow little by little.” He also added: “pressure is good, especially in football, where everything depends on the results. Pressure should make us get better and want to elevate our place in the table. It must be an incentive for us.”

Following an intense month with so many games, the coaching staff are aware of the need to get the players ready and in good shape. In this respect, he explained: “We’ll rotate the squad, as we’ll definitely need fresher legs. Substitutions are always made to win and it doesn’t necessarily mean that we don’t keep the scheme. As they say, ‘if it isn't broken, don't fix it,’” he concluded.
