The coach of SD Huesca looks eager and excited to play again at El Alcoraz. "We are ready to host a great team tomorrow, we are at home and I want the fans to be proud of our players. We hope to keep the good streak going, defending our style.” This was what he stated in the run-up to this Monday's clash against Real Oviedo.

A rival who he knows is “not going to give anything for free.” I am expecting Oviedo to be very concentrated, they know how to use the ball and are dangerous on the counter. They never lose their shape, they are always well armed, well positioned,” and he added, “they have a well-defined playing style, and they are very quick to recover the ball, we will have to be very focused.”

But, he said, “We are playing at home, and we are going to go out and have a big game.” He also added that “there will be more people in the stands who will help us, they are increasingly important, we need their support. They want you to play well, to score goals and for it to be attractive, it does not always go well, but what we must always show is that the team does not give up. It is value of the club and the city, we have to enable people to identify with their team.”

In a longer week than usual, the squad has been completed at the end of the market. “I am happy with what has arrived. With the squad completed, you see the parts that are already defined, you see what you need, but always with the idea of how we want to play. With the arrival of two strikers and a centre-half I have more possibilities. The players can return to their usual positions. We are also all more at ease, we are composed,” he said.

Far from worrying about having a small squad, the coach highlighted the positive side. “I like working with what I have. This way everyone will get their chance, and a small squad brings more competitiveness, and that is a positive. The players are happy and committed, now we must focus on working, on continuing to improve and being a recognisable team,” he concluded.
