Juan Pérez (Almudévar, 1996), who began his youth career at SD Huesca, will wear the SD Huesca colours once again, as he agreed a contract to join the club from CA Osasuna, for whom he had been playing since the 14/15 season. Therefore, he will add strength to the Azulgranas’ goalkeeping resources now and for the upcoming years, as he will play at El Alcoraz until June 2026.
He is definitely an impressive goalkeeper, and his qualities did not go unnoticed by Osasuna when he was still part of SD Huesca’s Youth team, as they agreed a contract with him to play at their own Academy nine years from now. As an Osasuna player, he has made 17 appearances with the first team, making his LaLiga Santander debut with the first-division side in the 2019/2020 season, at the age of only 23. In fact, he was the starting goalkeeper for CA Osasuna in their last visit to El Alcoraz, one year after his LaLiga Santander debut.
The new SD Huesca keeper has made 7 appearances in LaLiga Santander, 8 in Copa del Rey and 2 in LaLiga SmartBank so far, as well as 42 with the Youth team of CA Osasuna. Juan Pérez comes back to his hometown willing to make more appearances and to improve his qualities. And we welcome him with open arms.
