Javi Martínez (Ólgeva, Soria, 1999) seals the deadline-day move for SD Huesca. The Osasuna midfielder has arrived on loan during the window, after spending the first part of 2022/23 with Albacete. Despite his young age, the newcomer has had more than 40 appearances in Primera División, with more than 1,200 minutes in the Osasuna colours.
He has arrived at El Alcoraz willing to be a regular in Ziganda’s team and to perform at his highest level, as a versatile quality player for the midfield, who always looks to the attacking positions.
Martínez grew at CA Osasuna, here he played since the Youth team up to Segunda B competition. After that, at the age of 18, he joined their first team. He participated more and more there until last campaign, with 29 Liga and Copa appearances, and scoring one goal. Furthermore, he has been selected four times for the Spain national under-19 football team.
