Hidalgo: “These three points are key”

The SD Huesca manager told us about the encounter this Thursday at El Alcoraz, which is the last one of this year. “This is a key game, but all of them are at this point.”

“This is an extremely important game, since it is against a direct rival. We have to be natural, but consider how demanding it is getting all three points at El Alcoraz, said Antonio Hidalgo ahead of his side’s clash against FC Cartagena. Aware of the unwanted situation before the Christmas break, he states that “this is a situation with which we need to live, we also have to know how to manage it. The most important thing is to be at a right distance to feel capable. This is a long race, we must be mentally strong and know what will happen during the year, we feel like enjoying – this makes you strong.

Therefore, he asks his men to “go all in and be bold” in a game against a rival who are in a “limit situation”, too. The key for Hidalgo will be “keep being solid, be able to create superiority and, above all, concede less.” Knowing the importance of playing at El Alcoraz, he asks the crowd to be “there for the team, to support us and suffer with us, since these are three key points. We need their affection and push, but also their pressure.” The boss believes that his men have to cope well with emotions: “Our situation is not the easiest one, but we have to believe in what we do.”
