It’s #TimeToWatchIt (#EsHoraDeVerlo) this season, and Saturday 9th April it’ll be #TimeToFillIt (#EsHoraDeLlenarlo). The Oscenses will seek to fill El Alcoraz for the clash between SD Huesca ladies and CFF Zaragoza B. The event ‘El Alcoraz x la igualdad’ will be held at our stadium, hosting this great festival of women’s football that will fight to set another milestone in the Spanish women’s soccer: filling all the 9,000 seats of an elite national stadium. This event will be possible thanks to various public and private entities led by Casademont, the main sponsor of the Azulgranas.
The first women’s derby ever at El Alcoraz will be the second ladies encounter in this stadium since its opening in 1972. The 30th May 2021 was the first time, when our side beat CF Pallejà 4-1 at the end of last season, in front of more than 700 fans – its limited capacity due to COVID-19 pandemic. The challenge will be even more daunting this time: to fill the stadium and mobilise the social stakeholders of the city, the province and the region in order to make of the game an institutional and sports landmark.
Holding this massive event will be the grand finale for the visibility and recognition of the daily efforts made to promote and support women’s sport by our club. In order to professionalise them, we have associated with different companies – sponsors and providers: Casademont, Ibor, Alcampo, Villalba, Podoactiva, Sinergia, 3S, Huesca La Magia, Biofrutal, Catapult and Inelsa Zener.

In this sense, the institutional support has particular value, as various public entities have been the first to join ‘Butacas x la igualdad’ (seats for equality), together with Casademont as the official sponsor, hoping to include some more private companies in order to increase the number of free tickets for all the fans.
