The Azulgranas play one more away game in need of going a step further towards improving their away results. “We need to focus on ourselves more than on our rival. There’s room for improvement in our away matches, so this is our next challenge to win. We have to produce a good performance and gain confidence. Let’s see if we can,” told us Ziganda.
When asked whether Sunday’s could be a tricky encounter, he answered: “The table doesn’t say anything to me, we know how even this is and we’ve edged our top-four rivals and struggled against teams that are below us in the table. We’ve watched the last Ibiza home games and their rivals have struggled – it’s really hard to get a result there. They’re fighting, they’ve boosted their ranks and they don’t give up.”
The manager explained the same as in the previous away games: “We have to be careful – we play away from home and we’re not being accurate. We need to produce a better performance and to avoid making the mistakes that have prevented us from getting a result earlier.” And he added: “I think about it all the time, I feel responsible myself and I must insist in order to find the right formula to boost our confidence to face these games.”
“Most teams are in the same situation, but our case is very obvious. I believe that our away performances shouldn’t be the way they have – we can give even some more. In my opinion, we’ve been slightly better in our away games recently, but it hasn’t been enough. This is the starting point, but we have to be more self-demanding,” concluded the boss.
