Sociedad Deportiva Huesca won at Fernando Torres stadium in a competitive match which proved to be very difficult for the Altoaragoneses to break down, it all added up to a high-stakes and feisty encounter for CF Fuenlabrada, in LaLiga SmartBank matchday 35. The own goal from Diéguez and goals from Ignasi Miquel and Joaquín (2-3) sealed the three points for the Azulgranas, who extend their best run of the season, having picked up 10 points out of the last 12 just before the Aragon derby.

We saw a keenly contested encounter since the beginning, with little build-up in the midfield but many challenges on the pitch. The clash certainly started with the most positive result for the Oscenses. A corner found its way to Pablo Insua at the far post, and his header was deflected by Diéguez past the home keeper. SD Huesca were 0-1 up after two minutes. Ontiveros remained dangerous when the Madrilenians ventured forward with penalty-area entries, crosses and shots. In the 25th, another corner led to the equaliser for the hosts, after Adrián found the net. The Azulgranas reacted immediately, again from a set-piece, this time by means of a throw-in taken by Marc Mateu that Ignasi Miquel connected in the box: 1-2. And this was the score until the interval.

During the second 45, Antonio Calle – Xisco was to serve a suspension – made some substitutions, bringing on firstly Joaquín and then Mikel Rico, as the men in blue chased their leveller in their fight against LaLiga SmartBank relegation. Unfortunately, Fuenla turned that attacking impetus into the equaliser after 63 minutes. Poveda and Lago joined the action and shortly after, Joaquín made the most of a thumping effort from the visitors to make it 2-3 with a shot from the edge of the area that found the back of the net. From then on, Joaquín, Lago or Darío could have scored, as the Madrilenian side became more and more desperate as the minutes went by. Pulido returned from injury and Huesca perfectly grasped the last minutes in order to secure a vital three points.
