To quote our anthem, ‘Azulgrana is the colour’. SD Huesca will wear it with pride in our new home kit for the 2022-23 season. It is a shirt based on the club’s origins, with clear references to certain key moments from our history. A sign of hope and pride made thinking of all the Azulgranas who defend the colours of our team from humility and respect, but through commitment and fighting spirit. Thinking of all those who never give up. This design that can be condensed in a couple of words: Pure Huesca.
Stripes are back to our shirt, with a brand-new style where thinner lines get together by forming a pattern which becomes the traditional Azulgrana bars at sight. These colours are brighter and more intense than in the previous seasons. Design-wise we go back to our roots, yet keeping in line with the trendiest ideas and making use of cutting-edge technologies for comfort and quality in each garment, fruit of the union of Nike and the club, for the second season.
The design of our shirt includes the inscription Urbs Victrix Osca (Huesca, the winning city) as a nod to our city. It refers to the Battle of Ilerda, when the forces of Julius Caesar were helped by the people in Huesca against the army of Pompey Magnus, in 49 BC. It is this winning spirit which we would like to take on to the field.
Technique-wise the new shirt is made using Nike Dri-FIT ADV technology, which combines a great elasticity with moisture-wicking fabric. It has round neck and a standard fit for a flawless comfort.
