No child without a gift at Christmas one more year

This year more than 100 presents have been sent for Cruz Blanca, with the initiative being led by Fundación Alcoraz on behalf of the club

Sociedad Deportiva Huesca and the Alcoraz Foundation (Fundación Alcoraz) have honoured the annual tradition of giving out as many gifts as possible once again. In an event led by Alcampo Huesca, SD Huesca’s men’s team Cristian Salvador has represented the club this Wednesday to help deliver more than a hundred presents for Cruz Blanca, which will be subsequently given out to families in situation of vulnerability. The aim is that every child receives a gift: ‘No child without a gift,’ says the motto of this campaign, which has been carried out at this special time in previous years.

“It is an honour for SD Huesca and Fundación Alcoraz to be part of such a tradition in such a special time of year,” expresses Juanjo Camacho, responsible for Strategic Project Management at the Alcoraz Foundation. “There’s nothing more important in our society than children, who are our future. We want all young people, regardless of their economic or social status, to have a present to celebrate Christmas, just like any other kid in Huesca – it fills us with joy. Furthermore, we would like to congratulate Cruz Blanca, an association committed to the society we serve and that strives to help those who need it the most.” SD Huesca and Fundación Alcoraz have provided a number of official club merchandise that will be given out among those who have donated presents from the 5th November to the 10th January. Besides, all the gifts collected at the Official store before the AD Alcorcón tie have been gathered too. Bárbara and Pilar, on behalf of Cruz Blanca, have received all the material today in Alcampo.

Adrián Garcés, manager of the store Alcampo Huesca, highlights the importance of “making the most of the help given by SD Huesca. We will be collecting gifts all around the country by means of an NGO. Cruz Blanca helps those in need – we know we can count on them.”
