Jovanny Bolivar, called up to the national team of Venezuela at senior level

The player is set to join up with Venezuela for the matches against Italy and Guatemala, preparatory for the 2024 Copa America

Jovanny Bolivar has been called up from his country’s national team, Venezuela. In this case, it’s for the senior team, following his brilliant performance with the under-23 team during the pre-Olympics last February. The FC Barcelona forward has been requested for the upcoming two matches, which will see them face Italy and Guatemala as part of the preparation for the 2024 Copa America.

Both matches will be held in the United States, March 21 against Italy, and three days later against Guatemala. Therefore, the player will be absent from SD Huesca matchday 32 against Burgos, March 24.

This one is Jovanny Bolivar’s second call-up to the senior national team, the first in an official match, as he was also called up for two friendly matches last June. And it is another step in his international career after establishing himself in the Venezuelan under-23 team, with his recent participation in the pre-Olympics, where he made his mark as a goal-scorer, playing 566 minutes and scoring three goals.
