Hidalgo: "We need to keep the feeling of urge and rage"

The Azulgranas’ boss analysed the form of the team ahead of his side’s clash this weekend against Levante UD

The Azulgranas travel to Valencia knowing that they will face a tough encounter but expecting to be able to fight the rival and make the most of their visit to Ciutat. “It’s a hard stadium, with a quality team that enjoy a lot of possession, who are fast and talented up top. We’ll have to be careful and think of how we can halt the rival,” told us Hidalgo before matchday 20. "We all need to keep the feeling of urge and rage. We all need to push to give our all."

Although he does not consider it as the main objective, “it’d be nice to end the first part of the season out of the relegation spots,” but he states that the most important thing is to “manage the momentum. We need to work on stability because this is long, can vary and change, and all games are tight, so we have to be mentally stable.” He needs the commitment of all his players: “The more in the players are the more competitive the group becomes,” he confessed.

Hidalgo knows that “this is a long race and we need to reshape according to the different situations, moments and experiences. The most important thing is that the team compete and are solid. Little by little we’ll get better on the ball.”
