El Alcoraz declared victory again after way too many months but in a key time for SD Huesca. Hidalgo's men picked up all three points thanks to a goal from Javi Martinez following a neat effort from Joaquin, as well as to the great team work in defence. Huge display for a well-celebrated victory in the stadium.
The Oscenses' danger began with a powerful shot from distance by Kento, palmed away by the keeper. Only two minutes later, in the 13th, Joaquin won the ball back to combine with Javi Martinez, who managed to shoot past the keeper to make it 1-0. After that, the hosts were close to double the advantage from a corner, with Joaquin powering a rocket close to the post, but the keeper managed to save his effort. As the minutes went by, SD Huesca enjoyed the more chances, but the score did not change.
Ten minutes after the break, Gerard Valentin won the ball in the Huesca side, drove it to the edge of the area and powered a shot, but it went wide. Racing tried then to step forward, so SD Huesca had to defend hard to keep their spoils and prevent them from finding a spot to shoot. It was then when all ghosts appeared again, as referee Galech Apezteguia pointed to the spot when Obeng cleared the ball inside his own area, but VAR proved that he had touched the ball. In the final stages, SD Huesca had to repel the opposition's danger more than once, but it all ended with an ecstatic pleased stadium.
