Ziganda: "We can’t think of anything after Santander"

The manager keeps his good judgement. "We can’t set great goals – we have to focus on the game against Racing and try to win. The real objective is Santander"

"It’s a rival who are growing. They’re putting a good version of themselves out. It’s one of the teams in the best form of the competition at the moment. I expect a tough game due to their performance at El Sardinero," Ziganda told us ahead of his side’s encounter against Racing.

And he added: "they struggled to get results in the beginning, but they’ve managed to gain confidence and they’re more accurate now, so they’ve converted their chances well lately. They deserve great credit, since it’s not easy to overcome that situation."

Regarding his side, the boss keeps his good judgement: "We can’t set great goals – we have to focus on the game against Racing and try to win. The real objective is Santander. We need to produce a good performance and spot what we have to do in order to get a result there. We can’t think of anything after this Monday."

Besides, Ziganda pursued: "Considering how the season is going, we have to keep calm. We can’t think of anything after Santander, as we haven’t got results away from home recently, so we need to improve. We must be ambitious and only time will tell what we can fight for and where we can get."

And about the results away from home, he concluded: "We need to learn from our mistakes and play with confidence. We hope this doesn’t become an obsession but a challenge."
