The US Consulate gets to know the project of SDH Femenino

The Consul General, Katie Stana, visited Huesca to get a closer look at the Azulgranas women’s football team, and especially its data management and integration project

The Consul General of the United States in Barcelona, Katie Stana, visited the facilities of SD Huesca yesterday to learn about the data management and integration project developed by its women’s football club to monitor and enhance the physical and sports performance of its players.

The visit began at El Alcoraz stadium, where the consul, together with part of her Consulate team, met with the leaders of SD Huesca Femenino to understand how their section operates, their working methods and the daily routine of their players. Particularly, they focused on the data management and integration project developed by SDH Femenino: 'Control Sport.' This is an in-house tool created by the club to monitor sports performance and market analysis, which has enabled the club to build a comprehensive database about more than 100 players, along with reports on over 2,000 players, medical treatment analyses, collection of technical-tactical data and even injury prevention or control.

After that, the consul and her companions went to the fields of CD San Jorge, where the women’s first team was training, to have a look at the session and meet the players.
