The Oscenses could almost touch the triumph with their fingertips before the referee pointed to the spot and showed a second yellow card to Pulido, as Ziganda's side had to play one-man short the last stages of the second half. The vibe had been positive until then, but it did not prove to be enough to earn their first home victory of the season.
Mirandes had a better start to the game, with dangerous chances that did not really tested Alvaro. A free kick was very close to find the net and this spurred the hosts. Ziganda's men won metres and Mirandes keeper was called into action. Gerard Valentin chained several occasions inside the box, as he combined with Joaquin to power a shot that was repelled by a defender. Javi Martinez tried too with several shots from distance.
Ziganda had to make a half-time substitution due to injury, bringing on Vilarrasa for Ivan Martos. However, the Oscenses kept piling on the pressure in the early minutes, and Obeng drove up the ball to force a corner. SD Huesca seemed to be comfortable and found easy combinations by means of neat touches. It was time to take that to the score. Javi Martinez was responsible for that after 55 minutes, when he power a sensational shot without angle towards the far post following a corner. The Altoaragoneses had to defend this score no matter how, so they needed to be more solid than ever. Ziganda substituted Joaquin and Javi Martinez with Enzo Lombardo and Rafa Tresaco. As SD Huesca struggled to hold the ball, they received some terrible news, as Mirandes were awarded a penalty and the Oscenses' captain was shown a second yellow card. This translated into an equaliser, with just six minutes to go of stoppage time. Although the Azulgranas tried to fight until the end, the game became less nitid and both sides shared out the bitter spoils.
